Stuffing Stockings for the Troops!

The Chaparral YMCA is excited to begin their collections of stocking stuffers for the troops for the holidays.  We will be taking snack packs, consumables, and essentials up through November 15th.  We're suggesting buying items from Costco, Target and Walmart.  Some of the things they ask for are:

  • candy canes
  • Starbucks Via coffees
  • Cup Noodles
  • Cliff Bars
  • dried fruit
  • sunflower seeds
  • toothbrushes and toothpaste
  • hand warmer packets
  • letters and cards addressed to "Dear Armed Forces"

Please drop off donations to room 27.

The YMCA is proud to announce the arrival of new clubs and afterschool activities!

  •  Licensed, Full Day Program, Before & After School, and Holidays!
  • 2, 3, or 5 days a week
  • Healthy Eating Alternatives Club, Line Dancing Club, Arts and Crafts Club, and Chess and Checkers Club
  • Inclusion Support for Special Needs
  • Service Learning Projects
  • Character Development
  • KICC (Kids In Charge of their Community) - student government
